Advanced First Aid
Savage Wilderness, Kenya
“Outdoor First Aid Limited ran 2 courses for us back to back in Kenya. Cory was a fantastic, fun and enthusiastic instructor who tailored the course to suite the exact needs our guide/instructor team in Kenya required. An extremely comprehensive and in-depth 2 days that made us all feel comfortable in dealing with a first aid situation. We will see you in Kenya when its time to renew our qualifications. Thank you.” James Savage, Managing Director
Adventure Norway, Norway
Ewen Martin of Adventure Norway invited us to train his team of raft guides in Norway. He required the first aid course to be specific to raft guides. To fulfil his needs we need to run outdoor scenarios on the water, treating casualties wearing buoyancy aids and helmets and explore techniques to remove casualties from the water. Ewen employs an international group of raft guides from across the globe, for many staff English was not their first language.
” Cory, thank you very much for the first aid course you ran for Adventure Norway. Brilliant how you aimed the training at just the right level for my international staff” Ewen Martin
KE Adventure Travel
For the last 10 years Cory has been running Outdoor First Aid courses for staff and expedition leaders from KE Adventure Travel. These courses have evolved over time to suite the trekking leaders working in a range of overseas environments. Courses now include dealing with cold environments, altitude, evacuation procedures and tropical illness.
“Outdoor First Aid Limited once again provided a fantastic first aid course for our leaders and staff. They were able to put in some additional elements to the course such as altitude sickness, wound cleaning and femur splints so make it more relevant to the situations we might encounter on our treks and expeditions. The instructors pitched the course perfectly to a group of very experienced candidates.” Tim Nicholl
