Forestry Commission First Aid courses (EFAW+F / FAW+F)
Forestry Commission now requires that all on site contractors, hauliers, ecologists have suitable first aid cover to deal with accidents and incidents that may occur whilst they are undertaking their work. For many forestry staff this means that extra topics need to be added to the Health and Safety Executives’s ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ and ‘First Aid at Work’ courses. Add-ons should include dealing with severe chainsaw cuts, crush injuries, hypothermia and Lyme disease. Forestry Commission First Aid courses (EFAW+F / FAW+F) can be delivered at your venue. You can view the Forestry Commission First Aid Policy on their website.
Training for all of these first aid issues, which also covers the HSE First Aid at Work syllabus, is available and is packaged in our Outdoor First Aid course or we can deliver. Or our Forestry Commission First Aid courses – FAW+F or EFAW+F courses, can be delviered by our staff team. Simply call us for more information.
Or cover the new first aid requirements of Forestry Commission by attending one of our Outdoor First Aid courses.
